Many people suffer from acne today, both teenagers as well as adults and largely their cause is due to lack of maintenance of skin. Simple tips, if followed can help prevent or at least worsen occurrence of acne.
Be kind and tender to your skin: this is the first rule of skin care, never to be harsh and rub your skin vigorously. Similarly, do not use harsh soaps and water that is either hot or cold, as both will harm your face and strip it off the necessary oils. Using a mild cleanser with lukewarm water to wash your face twice a day or after a grueling workout will definitely help keep your face clean. Never use products that have harsh chemicals and if unsure always consult a doctor. Rinse properly to ensure that all the cleanser has completely gone and pat your face dry without rubbing it hard. Rubbing your skin will cause lacerations that will lead to pimples
Never put your hands on your face: Quite impossible, I agree but try not to touch your pimples and other rashes on the skin as this will cause bacterial growth and spread of infection.
Special Skin Care for Men: If you have pimples, then be careful while shaving. If you can then try and avoid shaving altogether for sometime but if that is not possible then try and shave around the infected area so as not to spread the infection. Further, using electric razors while shaving will help reduce the spread of acne.
Special SkinCare for Women: If you suffer from acne, try using cosmetics that will not counter the treatment you are taking. Always use products that do not clog your pores but test them before you actually use them. Do not rely on labels.
Avoid the Sun: A perfect tan, while preferable should be avoided at all costs, especially if your skin is prone to acne. For quite some time there has been a myth that has been doing rounds that sunlight is good for acne sufferers. Nothing is more false than that because the risks involved in exposing yourself to the sun is high and further it does not cure acne. The ultraviolet rays of the sun only result in the outer layer of your skin becoming dry and coming off but once you return to the shade, the pimples return. Moreover, over exposure to the sun increases the risk of skin cancer.

Thanks for the nice advice.
I’m a male and I have pimples all over my face.
It is indeed difficult to shave your mustache and beard if you have acne on those area.
You need to be extra careful or you’ll cut them.
I cut them several times. It hurts and also leave these dark spots on my face.
Do you have any idea to clean this dark spot?
